I'm a fan of the older Triumph releases the most (read my prior Triumph reviews for a taste). But "Never Surrender" delivers the goods, and has that trademark Triumph sound. You can tell that some of the harmony in the band was gone on this release but the band actually made music that ended up actually being somewhat popular and got some airplay with this. Nearing the end of the Rik Emmett years, the sound is still there on this, but the power that was reflected in the earlier (first 5) just wasn't. Its a must for Triumph fans. And most people who love good guitar driven harder rock would really enjoy this too. Check it out, heck the price is right for sure.
Just great rock and roll from the 80's Canada put out some excellent heavy metal with bands like Triumph and Helix and Rush rock on ehh
