Brought back some great memories when I first saw Triumph at the Royal Oak Music Theatre outside Detroit. Had hardly listened to them before then, but they played from current album at the time, "Progressions of Power", which is a great album as well. Anyway, at this show I remember them playing the song, "Blinding Light Show" which is on this CD. Plus some of the other songs were very good as well, that I had never heard before. Very glad I purchased this classic CD. Still hoping one day they may get together and do a tour. They were awesome in concert, sounds just like their studio recordings, Rik Emmett's voice is outstanding along with his guitar leads. Plus, the band was so tight and only a 3 man band, pretty incredible. One of my favorite bands of all time.
Outstanding debut release by an outstanding 3 man band. Sweet guitar, excellent lyrics and percussion are the hallmarks of the band Triumph. I tend to really enjoy the 1st offerings from classic rock bands (too many in history to list here) and this is no exception! Truly a classic, a must own for any Triumph fan, some of the best rock that Canada has to offer. If you are a fan of guitar rock and don't own this (or in fact, all of the Rik Emmett/Triumph years) then your really missing out on some great stuff.
well its a triumph cd so what did not work

This and "Rock And Roll Machine" are their first 2 CANADIAN releases. The original US "Rock & Roll Machine" was a combination of both of them. Now re-released as 2 seperate, not as good CDs!!
