Well I have been a moderate Christafari fan since their Gotee Records debut circa '95. Their current sound is more maturely rooted in the firm structure of more traditional Reggae. This album is as strong and solid as many if not maybe all Bob Marley albums. This album is an expansive journey into many different facets of one genre. It covers your Bob Marley signature type songs as already mentioned, but also delves into Dub beats ala' King Tubby, Shabba Ranks stylings as in the past and silly segue style snippets that piece this album together seamlessly. Nice backing vocals as always from Jennifer Howland and Avion Blackman. This is an interesting reggae album being in the fact that while it firmly remains steeped in traditional Reggae it also brings forth various other genres such as Rap, Calypso, Latin, and even Middle Eastern music; all interwoven throughout. These Christian Reggae pioneers have created a new genre with other sub Christian Reggae genres that is slowly beginning to eclipse it's Rastafarian counterpart. People have long viewed Reggae as a primitive roots super spiritual music that brings God closer to their souls, but the danger is that there is really no "God" in Rastafarian Reggae. For me; Christafari living and committing to their calling to put the one true God" Yahweh" into music that is relative to spirituality makes perfect sense to me. A GREAT Reggae album whether you are Christian or not. Mark "Tansoback" Mohr is not just an American white boy ripping off the music of a culture he knows nothing about. He has devoted his whole life to God, and the learning of the Jamaican culture. He is the real deal; and though preaching Christ to Rastafarians is tough business. I pray for their ministry and admire their passion. This same authenticity and passion is prevalent throughout this recording. Oh, and did I mention that with a whopping 22 tracks that you get your money's worth in music.Read full review
I bought this record even though I´m no reggae fan. It is a very well produced record with catchy melodies and more than 20 songs. But I also love it because i´ts a christian record that really encourages you. The songtexts are commented by scriptures in the booklet. If you like roots reggae you probably like it, but there are also soul & drumandbase parts.
Anything by Christifari is a great addition to your collection.

Very well made Cd. The beats are great and the songs are dedicated to Christ. A great reggae Cd to have, it is very mellow with the exception of about 2 or 3 tracks which are quite fast (which are arguable one of the bests). I recommend this Cd to believer or non believer.
The kind of music that lifts your spirits and makes you want to move. It is the best reggae album so far. I would reccomend it to anyone who loves God and loves reggae. They are talented and are spirit filled, a great combo for ministry.
