This album, the 1980? follow up to Grey Ghost, is one of the best albums in the Southern Rock genre. The best part about Henry leaving the Outlaws was that we got twice as much "Outlaw" music. The guitar playing on this disc rocks hard, with some awesome slide and dual harmonies. The twin drummers are very evident and they add a whole new dimension to the sound. The songwriting is very strong with hook laden chorus's and very interesting, jazzy at times, chord structures. Not your usual 1-4-5 crap. A more sophisticated approach that really stands the test of time. No surprise, as the Outlaws always were a cut above the rest. Outstanding musicianship, great vocals, and catchy hooks. One of the best discs, that wasn't a mainstream hit. Highly recommended, as well is the first HPB disc Grey Ghost. Also, the third HPB disc, Anytime, is very strong and was one of the last guitar heavy Southern albums before record company pressures made every one start using synths to "update" their sound. Wow how the eighties screwed up my favorite genre of music. Long live southern rock, and if you like this kinda stuff check out www.thewhiskeyriverband.com for more great rock. Peace.Read full review
