This is a hard progressive rock album from the mid 1970s.. I would rate it as no better than okay.I only really like two of the songs. Recording quality of the cymbals is pretty bad, even on the remaster. Budgie has recorded a lot of albums. After hearing this one, I am not tempted to buy any more. As far as hard progressive rock from the 1970s in concerned, bands like Rush and Eloy do it much better

I would recommend this or any other release from the highly underrated Budgie. They are a straight-up, no frills attached, GREAT rock band for fans of Rush, Black Sabbath, Thin Lizzy etc. A nearly forgoten band, but dont let that fool you. Check out thier early material first and work up from there. Put it in your player, crank it to 11 and enjoy!
