this is a good record from a great band, the reason why i bought this record was because jackyl's 1st record was excellent, but this record had some great song like 'when push come to shove','headed for destruction' and ' i could never touch u like u do'. but think u would be happy with buying this record ; )
This is just not the same Jackyl in 1994 as it was on it's self-titled debut from 1992. It appears the mood of this album is darker, and serious than their party-harty chainsaw spurring anthems that littered their excellent, almost greatest hits album of a debut. The only tracks on PCTS that stand out are the first 2, Headed for Destruction and the title track, and the last couple are rockers, Rock-A-Ho, and Chinatown. It's worth buying for a penny ($.01 cent) like I did.
This title is difficult to find at Barnes & Noble, or Best Buy - but found it fast and easy on eBay. The tracks are some of my favorite rock from the 80/90's, and this disc had my 2 faves from this band - Headed for Destruction is totally awesome!!
What can I say? Its Jackyl. Their 2nd album to be exact. Jackyl has a unique rock sound, as any rock band should. If this album dont make you appreciate rock like it did for me, then you are not a true rock fan.
