A masterful blending of punk, prog, and alternative elements, Jane's Addiction's Ritual De Lo Habitual marks the culmination of the groups completely unique musical style. There are hard rockers (Stop!, Ain't No Right blended with funk infused jams (No One's Leaving, Been Caught Stealing),and topped off with the 15 minute epic that is Three Days and Then She Said. The band pulls out all the stops creatively, cryptically dealing with issues relating to poverty, race, and the environment. In doing so, they create a sound that is, honestly, fully original and intreaguing. And don't let the date fool you because this album is, by no means dated. It is as fresh sounding today, as the day it was recorded. All in all, an assential to any fan of alternative, and a very worthwhile purchase for the fan of music that seamlessly melds together the best from multiple genres.Read full review
The cover was a little bit sticky but the CD played great with only one part that skips.

I've loved this album since I got my cousins to buy it for me back in the early 90's when I couldn't get it because it was the one with the uncensored cover. It is an awesome album and will always be a classic alternative album.
