I bought this album originally when it came out and played it non-stop. I lent it to my roommate when I was giving her voice lessons and it disappeared somehow and somewhere in her car. I was really bummed. I went to music stores a couple of times trying to find it but it was always out. Finally, after hours of youtube.com watching these songs - I went onto ebay and found it for sale at a great price. It shipped fast and was in perfect shape. I'm a really huge fan of these ladies. Gotta love ebay!!!
I love this CD, its country, with a bit of a pop-like sound to it. All of the songs are catchy, easy to sing along with, good lyrics & meanings behind each one. A very well put together & produced album. Wish we would here more from these two! I highly recommend this CD to fans of dixie chicks, & country music singers like them...very similar fun feel!
Great cd for blasting lonely back roads in a fast car! This is essentially a Michelle Branch album, but with a bit of twang at times, and some cussin'. I described it as music Daisy Duke would have played if she was an early 00s alterna-chick; it's feisty, a bit sad at times, poppy and addictive. Very strong songs, with Michelle's love-it-or-hate-it voice. You know what I mean. Those that hate it, kick them to the curb. Excellent choruses, strong production, very full, rich songs, crystal clear and fun to listen too. Jessica - she's a knockout, but to be honest, Michelle does most of the vocal duties, I can hear Jess in the background more or less, but that's fine with me; it kind of sounds like a natural progression after Hotel Paper. Great stuff, not sure why it was overlooked 15 years ago, but hey, good things usually are. My guess is that it wasn't quite "country" enough," wasn't quite "pop" enough, but a bit out there, combining those elements with rock, alternative and just sexy girlishness and shined a bit too brightly for the average, casual music fan. If you like a bit of "challenge" to your music, this would be a great one to add to your collection.Read full review

I bought this album just to take a listen without spending the full price of a brand new one. Right now, it's become one of my favorites. I used to not be a fan of The Wreckers at all, but after listening to this album, it's a great escape! There's a good mixture of fast and slow songs and also happy and sad songs. Very Impressed!
I thought this was a great CD. Though the Wreckers are technically a country group, some of the songs didn't have the typical country sound to them. Michelle Branch teamed up with a friend to make this CD and her voice is definitely the stronger and more heard of the two. If you like Michelle's other CD's, you will definitely like this one. I like the fact that it is a mix of country and "pop" (though not pop like Britney Spears, etc).
