A real crushing, slap-in-the-face album that I definitely enjoy, though it's not exactly perfect to me. There are some songs that I like all the way through ("Spokes for the Wheel of Torment" and "The Escape Wheel" are two of my most played Buckethead songs!), but too often, I find a great riff will get lost in the shuffle. Too much of the same style of playing (with the power drumming, I like to call it "military crunch") causes some of it to become a bit of a blur, I find, whereas most of his albums have songs that can be readily differenciated from each other. It's a bit like Bucketheadland 2 with no narrative. One definite positive is the tone[s] he uses. Lots of craziness there, carried over from Bucketheadland 2. Another positive is that this is the type of album I'll get more out of with each listening. The positives most definitely outweigh the negatives, so I'll give it a solid 4/5.Read full review

I love this CD. It is very much in tune with his newer music. There are no words, just his guitar and whatever back-up music he has. Buckethead is the best guitar player in the world.
