I bought this CD for the single "Sunburn" - excellent slow, jazzy samba tune - real different - and that's what DLR has the luxury of doing post-VH. But, folks tend to ignore his work if its not "Yankee Rose" anthems. "A Lil Ain't Enough" is even better than YFLM...
After the regular "A Little Ain't Enough" Dave got under the radar, and it took him 3 years to release another album. By 1994 most people considered him finished, but he didn't care. This album is absolutely great, with all the glam and party we ever liked but more suited to the 90s. And doesn't matter what the critics say, if you are a fan of Dave this album is for you, just great!
Great record. If you like Diamond Dave, you'll dig it. A little different than the Van Halen stuff, but in a good way. Wooooooo!
