This is a necessary purchase for all Journey fans. A great selection of songs from their debut album all the way to Raised on Radio, along with a few new tracks that are absolutely fantastic. The two instrumentals "With a Tear" and "Into Your Arms" sound like studio jams, and I love it. The only other version of "With a Tear" I've heard was a low quality recording, but with Steve Perry vocals. It's a shame that was never able to be recorded more clearly. "All that Really Matters" is another new track that was cut from Frontiers with Jonathan Cain on lead vocals. It's a shame that never made it to the album, but I'm glad we're able to hear it on Time3!

55 songs in chronological order this is a well done box set that includes all of the popular Journey music plus a bunch of songs you may not have heard of. Sound quality is excellent. It includes a colorful booklet and informative liner notes about each song. If you like this band, and you are lucky enough to find this box set for less than cost of 4-CDs, I would recommend that you buy it.

This is a very good compilation, well worth the purchase. It is chock full of Journey songs, from album tracks to long-lost material. It makes for hours of listening.
i did not know that journey did such good music before steve perry. i prefer the earlier stuff. they blew me away with the whole works. i am not the biggest fan of journey but i am a convert now that i have heard the total package from early to the perry years.
