This is such an outstanding cd! Currently OOP and gettin' a bit harder to find in like new condition, this is quickly becoming a collectible cd. Ex-Journey bassist Ross Valory along with ex-Journey bandmate & keyboardist Gregg Rolie form this often overlooked early 90's AOR band with other members Josh Ramos (who cites lead guitarist Neal Schon of Journey fame as his main influence), Kevin Chalfant doing wicked good vocals and percussionist Steve Smith laying down a flawless beat on drums. If your a fan of Journey, and you don't already own this material I'd recommend that you purchase it. This debut is a really good effort, and once you get it your also gonna want to buy their 2nd release "Eye of the Storm" because its even better than the debut! 4 1/2 stars for this stand out freshman effort by a band that didn't stay together long before all disbanding and going on to other projects with other big name bands.Read full review
It is a great cd, great music lost in time. Gregg Rolie and Kevin Chalflant made great music at this time, in the line of Journey. Very pleasant to hear.

You hear the quiet sound of the rain falling to the ground. The thunder cracks, and enter the storm with the guitar. This is how the album begins. It is loaded with great medium tempo melodic rock and includes the up tempo big hit song for the band "I've Got A Lot To Lean About Love". Their success with this album led to them touring with Bryan Adams on his "Waking Up The Neighbors" tour. Includes band members from Journey and Santana. This has got to be one of my favorite albums of all time and is a must have. I recommend this to people all the time and have never had anyone that didn't like it. The closing song "Can't Live Without Love" is my personal favorite on the album and really shows off lead singer Kevin Chalfant's voice. The song fades into a nice guitar riff at the end as you begin to hear the rain falling once again. Then the thunder rolls into the distance and the storm fades away.Read full review
