Arguably L.A.Guns best album. The debut was all attitude and Hollywood. Cocked and loaded is more mature both are great fun.

Most people scoff at the rock music scene of the late 1980s, but this album is one of the better ones to emerge from that scene - it simply rocks! It's full of good, loud riffs, tounge-in-cheek sleazy lyrics screamed out by a hoarse-voiced vocalist. Just what most rockers like. It's just unfortunate that grunge was becoming the "in" thing when this album was released in 1989 so alot of people missed out on it because it was dismissed by critics. From the aural rollercoaster of "Letting Go" through to "Wheels of Fire" the band's energy never lets up. They even squeezed in an instrumental "Addicted" which shows they could rock without the need for vocals. There is the expected soft-rock ballad but even this is perfectly crafted. Other stand-out tracks for me personally are "Magdalaine" and "Showdown". Call yourself a rock fan? Then give this a listen you'll love it.Read full review

Complete shite, don't buy this album, total waste of money, I'd rather buy acid and burn my face off
