I first heard this record when I was 10 years old an my older cousin brought it to my house to listen to. Even at that early age I was blown away by the music ... Today I had to go out and buy the CD to prove to my daughter that the Goo Goo Dolls were not the ones to compose "Give a Little Bit". I always thought this was a classic record, and my eardrums confirmed it again when I played the CD.
I originally purchased this CD for the two songs that I am familiar with: the title track & Give A Little Bit. The title track is among the finest songs that Supertramp has ever done, IMO. Not every song is a winner; but some have grown on me while others won't. I chalk this up to weak writing for one or two tracks. As with all Supertramp releases the overall sound is top notch. Even In the Quietest Moments is very much worth owning. I'd give it a 7 out of a possible 10. HTH~
Like all of the Supertramp remasters, this one is excellent. I feel like a big improvement over the original CD’s.

Pristine recording. Superb writing and performances. I think it's one of Supertramp's best efforts.

Well gee-ah-well it's Supertramp and sounds great. Well I need to write more for this to be a real evaluation, maybe this is enough now.
