Corny. BUT Man what a FUN Album!
There is not a lot to say about an album that is pretty self-explanatory. This is the QUEEN soundtrack to (Flash Gordon). The movie itself is something you could see on your local television listing at 3:00AM in the morning on any given day of the week. The acting is terrible, the story line is even worse, and the characters are ridiculous... BUT this album is hella-fun to listen to. "What do you mean... Flash Gordon is approaching?" (Damn, I thought he was dead too...) I laugh every time I watch the movie, but rock-out every time this album is played in my car or home stereo system. The key is to not take it to seriously. You will enjoy it!

I BOUGHT THIS CD BECAUSE I WANTED TO UPDATE MY SOUNDTRACK COLLECTION. ALSO , THEY ARE RE-RELEASING THE DVD , THIS MONTH. THE MUSIC AND DIALOG IS THE SAME AS THE LP ALBUM. GREAT MUSIC AND MEMORIES.DALE ARDEN SAID,"I'M A NEW YORK CITY, THIS PLACE IS A LITTLE TOO QUIET FOR ME." THE CD IS NOT QUIET, CRANK IT UP!

"Flash! Ah, Ahhhh..."
It's great to hear these songs on CD but I cannot stand the movie dialog that is played over the music on each track. It would be great if they released a remixed/remastered version of all these songs (without movie dialog) plus the orchestral score music by Howard Blake on a two CD set.
