The cd is pretty good for a disc that is full of cover tunes from other artists. I think that Ozzy just did this for fun because this does not at all sound like him when he writes his own songs with Black Sabbath or his own written solo stuff. His solo stuff with Randy Rhoads and Jake E. Lee sound a whole lot better than anything that is on this album. This cd is interesting though, in that it shows that Ozzy has other tastes in music besides what everyone hears him sing about all of the time.
The video of In My Life alone is worth the price of the dual disc. Seeing the scenes of Ozzy and Randy Rhodes brings home the haunting quality of this song. Then there is the music...for example, how could Ozzy not do 21st Century Schizoid Man? A baker's dozen classic rock songs, on which Ozzy puts his own personal stamp. After hearing the Ozzy version of these songs, the originals pale in comparison. This for the most part overlooked CD is a must for any Ozzy fan.
great album, i highly recomended to everyone, this is great and ozzy make a good job with this album...
