Overall, not bad. Music has good beat with enough variety as to not get old. Each song is a bit different than previous but not significantly enough. They are a good band but they lack that quality that sets them above the rest, in other words they lack that distinctive sound that great bands have. But it will stay in my playlist and if I can get another title by them for a reasonable amount, I will.
This is the third release by House Of Lords, and the last featuring Greg Giuffria, the guy who originally formed the group. I wish that he would stay with the group that he pretty much formed after Angel and Giuffria, but he hasn't. The group still sounds really good today, even without him, but he should stay with the group that he originally formed and all. The album has former Ozzy Osbourne/Whitesnake drummer Tommy Aldridge on it, and he does a good job with the drums. Paul Stanley of Kiss, also does some guest background vocals on it, which makes it a little bit more interesting. The album does not sound as hard as "Sahara", but it is very good and sounds more like the debut "House Of Lords". So if like the sound of the debut, you will like this one as equally.
My favorite HOL cd. This just came out at a horrible time for this type of music so it got ZERO promotion or push and that's too bad. I just felt the songs were much better and just easier to listen to the whole thing without skipping songs like I tend to on the first 2 cd's. Great undiscovered album if you get ahold of it!!
Wow...for the price this disc is in awesome condition.
