I knew this was going to be a "different" style of music for Bon Jovi. Unplugged and re-worked. I hoped it would be much like Tesla's 5 man accoustical jam. Nope. It's not. Fans wanting the original songs to "rock-out" with will be deeply disappointed. I can appreciate what the band wanted to do with this CD. The line notes a great. But it's not something I listen to very often. You might as well listen to Disintegration by the Cure if you're in the mood to hear this CD. A true Bon Jovi fan will buy it just to say they have every album Bon Jovi has ever recorded on their shelf. But it's my least favorite so far. Borrow it from someone for a listen before you buy.
So bad, my wife a big Bon Jovi fan for years said she could not believe they produced this awful music, for the sake of those reading, I cannot accurately describe what she really said.

This for bon jovi fans who love to hear how some of their favorite songs sound differently. The whole point of this cd is re make some of the wonderful songs they did to have a new feel. If you wanted one of their older cds buy them don't sit here and down play their hard work. This cd is a favorite of mine and i like how different it is. True fans can love and appreciate all their cds if you can't then i guess you don't know good music when you hear it.
This is a CD for true Jovi fans. This CD explores the different avenues that Bon Jovi has experimented with over the years. A very wide taste in music is also an asset to enjoy this CD.
