Tora Tora was (is... they are still together) a great band that unfairly got lumped in with the "hair" bands of the 80's. I say unfairly because a lot of the "hair" bands were sub-par musicians who just happened to be good with a can of hairspray and a tube of lipstick. I bought the Wild America cd about a month ago and it has been in my player ever since. It is an outstanding cd. I can't say enough about it. Give it a shot... you won't be disappointed. Amnesia, Cold Fever & City of Dreams... three of the best songs ever. Point blank period.
I have always been a fan of Tora Tora. I had their music on cassette but didn't have any on CD. This was their second album and it is some of the best bluesy hard rock from that era. The songwriting really improved from their first album. The album contains two great ballads (As Time Goes By and Faith Healer)and many great rockers (Amnesia, Dead Man's Hand, the title track).
great band
