This is the only cd that I have seen so far that features the most Whitesnake written songs done live on it, with Sykes playing lead guitar and also singing lead vocals that sounds excellent. It even features ex-Whitesnake drummer Tommy Aldridge, which makes this live recording even more enjoyable to hear. I do not even know why David Coverdale even let Sykes go after recording and writng the whole Whitesnake-1987(the"Here I Go Again") record with him. He should not have, because he is really good, and if he toured for that record, a lot more people would have heard him, to know how good of a guitarist he is. Sykes even gives "Is This Love?" from Whitesnake, a ballad guitar thrashing sound that I have never even heard before until now, and probably will never hear again. Even his solo songs and the songs that he wrote with the Thin lizzy guys sound really good. If you want a very good range of Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy, and John Sykes songs on one cd, this is the one to get.Read full review
