I've only owned this CD for a few days, but I would highly recommend it to any hard rock enthusiast. The Four Horsemen only had two albums before fading away. "Nobody said it was Easy" is a back-to-the-basics hard rock debut album that I would describe as a mixture of "AC/DC" with a healthy dose of " The Black Crowes". I have yet to become intimate with all the songs on the album, but I do know that the tune, "Rockin' is Ma Business" was a moderate hit back in 1991. The album was produced by Rick Rubin, who for the most part, always brings out the best in the bands with which he works. Overall, you won't go wrong with this release if you appreciate bands that actually write real music instead of being manipulated by record label executives. Anyone looking to grab a copy of this album be forwarned: It usually sells for close to, if not, more than $30.00 on most eBay auctions due to the fact that it is a rare CD!!!Read full review

When I first heard Rockin'is my Business on the radio in 91' I thought to myself, "what is this"! I was over joyed to hear REAL rock again as apposed to the stuff that was being pumped out at the time. Ala' Vanilla Ice, New Kid's etc.. I really liked the in your face guitars of Haggis and Dave Lizmi. Maybe a little too AC/DC at times but what a great party record! If your lucky enough to find this disc I strongly reccomend that you buy it. The Four Horsemen get 2 big thumbs up from me!
Awesome , fast response.

one of the better albums to have in your collection. not really any b tracks at all, it's a solid lineup front to back. put this one in the same league as full moon fever by petty, the metallica black album, and ac/dc back in black in the sense that there IS NOT a weak tune on this whole album. a great piece of work!!
