Ah, Saints & Sinners... I've always loved this cd, but one of my ex boyfriends stole it and I had a hard time finding it again. Well, now that I have it back I took a trip down memory lane. My favorites on here have to be "Frankenstein" and "Lesson of Love". "Frankenstein" is a song about a schizophrenic man dealing with the voice in his head. I can appreciate that one since I work in a mental hospital. "Lesson of Love" is a song about gold digging women who only want money, not love. The message is a little grim, but the song is full of energy and catchy. If you like the lesser known bands that missed the boat for the "hair metal" era then this cd is for you.
There are no words I can say that really does this justice. It doesn't get any better than this! There is not one bad track on it, very professional in every way. I purchased it on cassette when it first came out in 1992. I had to have it on CD. It was produced and engineered by Canadian rocker Aldo Nova on Savage Records. Great lyrics and harmonies, and superb guitar (hooks galore). My only negative comment is that there was never a follow up to this magnificent release by "Saints & Sinners" (as of yet). If you can find a copy, it is definitely worth picking up. I promise you will love it. My other all time favorites of this genre are "Beau Nasty", "Hurricane Alice", "Heavens Edge", "Roxy Blue" & "Shotgun Messiah" just to name a few.
Perfect in all aspects, tremendous guitar, this cd with under the influence of Wild Side are the best in the early 90's! great hard rock and great hair band, that's what i can say
