While I wouldn`t go so far to say this CD is a classic, Extreme Behavior is a very good CD nonetheless. I suppose the comparisons to Nickleback are fair in that they have the same "rock with an attitude" style, but I wouldn't go so far as to say they are a clone. Tracks that really stand out are 'Get Stoned', 'How Long', and 'Bliss'. 'Lips of an Angel' is also a really good for a ballad. If you are looking for that deep inner meaning to life in a CD, good luck with that. You won't find it with Hinder. But if you are looking for a great rock CD that you can listen to while having a good time, buy this CD and you won't be disappointed.
I didn't really most of the songs Hinder's "Extreme Behavior" CD the first couple of times I listened to it. Heck, I didn't even like the first single "Get Stoned" the first time heard it on the radio. I have to admit, the main reason I bought this CD was for the cover picture and because I'm a huge fan of their song "Lips Of An Angel" (I still play it frequently). It was also at a good price (about $6.99) at Target when I bought in April or May of 2006. One reason I initially didn't like the CD is because I thought the songs were too simple. I even thought the lyrics to "Get Stoned" (and "How Long") were stupid. Anyway, at the beginning of the summer of 2006, I put this CD in my car, and while driving I found myself singing along with a lot of the songs on the CD. Perhaps the songs on this CD were made simple for reason, so that it would be easier for fans to sing/hum along to, and I think that's how you end up enjoying this CD. Here's the track listing for "Extreme Behavior" (10 tracks in all) 1. Get Stoned 2. How Long 3. By The Way 4. Nothin' Good About Goodbye 5. Bliss (I Don't Wanna Know) 6. Better Than Me 7. Room 21 8. Lips Of An Angel 9. Homecoming Queen 10. Shoulda My favorite songs are "Lips Of An Angel" and "By The Way." I also like "Bliss (I Don't Wanna Know)," "Get Stoned" (I like it now), "Better Than Me," "Nothin' Good About Goodbye," and "Homecoming Queen," even though they tried too hard to make it sound like a hit. The rest of the songs ("How Long," "Room 21," and Shoulda") are not bad, but also nothing special, even though they released "How Long" as a single. While I don't like all ten tracks on this CD, I'm giving it a perfect 5 based on the amount of times I played this CD (and it was a lot). By the way, to that guy who was stopped next to me at the red light last summer and heard my horrible voice singing "Bliss (I Don't Wanna Know)", I apologize.Read full review

I bought this CD because I really liked the lead singer's voice - reminded me of Chad Kroeger from Nickelback. I can't say that this is the most original-sounding CD I've ever heard (on first listen, the songs all sound very much the same - though they were more distinguishable on a second or third run-through; and everything from the music to the vocals - as I've already noted - sound like pieces of other bands all mushed together), HOWEVER, I still enjoyed this album. There are some very good songs (most notably "Lips of an Angel"). This is not a ground-breaking, earth-shattering next-big-thing album, but it is a good solid listen, with a good mix of fast and slower songs. If you're one of those people who whine and complain if a band sounds even slightly like someone else, save your money, but otherwise, it's a good listen.Read full review
Now let me get one thing very straight before anything else - This album WAS GOOD,just not great. Lol,okay now... For the same reason anime-revolution liked Hinder,I didn't. They sound way too much like Nickleback and I have never been a big fan of Nickleback. Another flaw on the album was that most of the songs sound exactly the same. (Also like Nickleback, lol) It's very... Average, hence my rateing. It's not good but not bad. There are some great tracks in here as well as some that just dont hit it. I'd say that you buy a couple of songs on I-Tunes,to get a feel of it,and then if you like what you hear - buy it. 1-10 = 6 Thanks for Listening, Electric Scene
