Mindfunk was a great groove metal band that just never really took off. Not much funk in thier style. The band was called Mindf*ck, but Epic wouldn't release it like that, so they went with Mindfunk. I bought this CD after stumbling accross it on Ebay. This was an album that I used to listen to back in the late 80's and somehow forgot about it. I'm glad that I rediscovered it. This is the best record Mindfunk made, in my opinion. Mindfunk was dropped by thier lable, Epic, shortly after this albums' release. The band tried to keep it together with several line up changes, and made a few more albums, but never could find the magic that this record has. This is a classic album that has stood the test of time for me. Great song writing with memorable hooks and good guitar work. This is a must have for any hard rock music fan.Read full review
I've had this group on cassette for a long time and decided to get it on cd. This is a must have cd for all hard rock and heavy metal fans. They soound a lot like faith no more and some other bands to. Its mostly fast or speed rock/metal with a couple of slow songs to. One of my favorite albums to put on and listen all the way through because there aren't any bad songs on the cd.
