First off,It is NOT Badlands or Ozzy or anything like it. What it is,is a Joe Satriani,Steve Vai type effort, all instrumental and very experimental.I was expecting to not like it after what I'd read about it,but actually thought some of it was really good. The old Bar-Kays number "Soulfinger" to me was worth the album, but I also enjoyed the opening and closing compositions as well as the spaghetti western theme sounding "Demon A Go-Go" It does rock, but in a different way than what you may be used to.There are solid lead jams and some choppy riffs to be found, but often in the middle of some new style rock, almost industrial at some points. All in all I enjoy it and at least three tunes are growing on me each time I relisten.Break out of the norm, have an open mind and give it a try! If you can find an affordable copy that is! UPDATE-- Here it is several months later and the cd has grown on me quite a bit. There is some really unique stuff going on here.Soulfinger is still my favorite by far,and worth the price by itself, but the rest of the disc is finding it's groove in my playlist more and more.Great stereo production makes it worth a listen just to hear the separation of the tracks, even on the less than straight forward rock songs. I have given it an extra star due to this updated familiarity with the nuances that make it a really interesting listen.Read full review

Right now i'm using it as a coaster to put my beer on.I'm thinking about using it as a frisbee for the dog to chase. It's hard to believe the guy that played lead guitar in Badlands and for Ozzy turned out this lame piece of s--t.
