I've been a Deep Purple fan for decades, in fact named my son Ian after Paice and Gillian in 1981. I've searched for this CD for years and finally found it on half.com. This is probably my favorite purple album although Gillian, Blackmore and Glover aren't on it. Tommy Bolin's guitar work is a refreshing change added to Lord and Paice. David Coverdale's vocals are terrific, but the most outstanding benefit to this line up is Glenn Hughes! The funk he provides to the hard rock is a delight! But I like his vocals best of all. The "feel" of this album is more moving in a different way than most other Purple albums. This an obscure CD, but one that I am thrilled to have. Gotta check out "Owed to G"! Beautiful!!!
