Such a beautiful voice. I heard her for the first time recently on TV and her voice was amazing! Expecting a terriffic sound, I bought 2 different ones, and both have such poor orchestration, they sound like they were recorded in somebody's garage. In addition, her style changed to a jazzy sound, nothing like her TV bit. The combination of her style and the mediocre orchestration makes her sound like a cheap lounge singer, not the fabulous singer she is capable of being. She does not do her voice justice. I won't be listening to these again and they don't deserve to be in my massive music collection. My husband agreed and it was he who called her a louinge singer. No fault with the seller though, he/she still rates 5 stars.

Smooth vocals with outstanding musicians and famous duet partners. What more could you ask? This is one of Jane's best collections. Not a bad cut on the whole album. Quite different material for Ms. Monheit but better than ever.
I have enjoyed all of Jane Monheit's CD's. I like her voice, the musical arrangements. From time to time I will put all the cd's of hers in my car player and listen to her while driving.
Jane Monheit is one of the best vocalists performing in any genre today. So excellent at such a young age and now expanding beyond jazz pieces.
