Enchanted,Indeed!
Haven’t heard this record since about 1979 , so it was a welcome addition to my collection. It is just as much fun as I recall. But I lament that I couldn’t get the expanded version, with the additional tracks.Nonetheless, it’s always an “enchanted” evening when I get to hear a live recording of BOC in their heyday.

This album is their best hits live, if you like BOC, this album is a must. 1. RU Ready to Rock? 2. ETI (Extra Terrestrial Intelligence) 3. Astronomy 4. Kick out the Jams 5. Godzilla 6. The Reaper 7. We Got Get Out of this Place – Great music from the New York power rock band and well recorded from several live shows, the only negative issue is how short the album is, 38 minutes in total, but it still kicks major tail, Godzilla is an all time rock classic.

A Great Live Performance
I've been a Blue Oyster Cult fan since the 1970's. I had this album as a teenager, and I literally wore it out! I remember going to see them in concert and they always put on a great show. Lights, lasers, dry ice, and of course, the big, flaming Godzilla head! The lead singer, Eric Bloom, would come out riding a Harley onstage with a topless beauty onboard for the oncore (usually "Roadhouse Blues"). Listening to this CD brings it all back! From the blistering opener, "R.U. Ready 2 Rock" to the closing "We Gotta Get Out Of This Place," Blue Oyster Cult serves up some tasty rock and roll. My personal favorites are "E.T.I.(Extra Terrestrial Intelligence)", a very cool 8:19 minute-long "Astronomy", and of course, "(Don't Fear) The Reaper." I haven't been to a concert in awhile now, but listening to this CD allows me to do that - in my mind! "Kick Out The Jams, Brothers and Sisters!"Read full review

An excellent, but short live album!
I really like this release. Made from a show in 1978, this captures the band at their peak. You get the popular hit songs Don't Fear the Reaper and Godzilla (excellent guitar work on this live track by the way), as well as an outstanding cover of the British band MC5's hit "We gotta get outta this place". I only review live albums that I really, really think deserve credit and this one definately fits into that category. My only complaint would be that it is very short (less than 40 min.) but still that wasn't enough of a concern to warrant a lower rating...especially since the price of this cd is so inexpensive!
