Ive been meaning to buy this album for years now but being a Beatles/Lennon and McCartney fan I was in no hurry.I heard What is Life years ago and loved it,and I thought the other songs on the cd would be just as good. The title song All Things Must Pass is a lovely song,I love the words as well as the music,I dont know what George was thinking when he wrote it,better Harrison fans will know. But I take it theres always tomorrow and what seems bad now wont last.Another of my favourites is Isnt it a Pity, the words are clear and to me,dont need explaining. My Sweet Lord, the number one single from the album is a classic. From what ive read,he wasnt sure about releasing it as a single because of his religious beliefs becoming clear near the end of the song, but Phil Spector told him its a hit single, and he was right, forget about Hes So Fine. The only downside of the album is the jamming music at the end of disc two, could have done without that, but the rest of the album makes up for that.Im glad I bought All Things Must Pass, even though im more of a Lennon and McCartney fan,to me it stands up well next to John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band and the self titled McCartney, released around the same time.Read full review

Great to find this on CD, I have been playing the original triple album since its release in 1971. The sound reproduction is as good as the records and it is such a showcase for George's talent that was never explored whilst he was a Beatle. Defiinitely worth a listen and once you have listened you will want to buy for yourself.
