The CD reissue of Gary Moore's masterful 1982 album shows him to be not only a nimble-fingered guitarist, but also a great songwriter. Tracks like "Always Gonna Love You," and "Falling in Love with You" could be smash radio hits. The song "End of the World" shows off Gary's lightning speed guitar riffing opening with a guitar solo similar to Van Halen's "Eruption." It's a great album from beginning to end, and the bonus tracks make it even better. The remaster, however, is not the best. The sound is a bit compressed. But it's great to have this superb album on CD!
Gary Moore Corridors of Power 2003 REMASTERED EU PRESSED CD EX
Verified purchase: Yes | Condition: Pre-owned
What a master Gary Moore was. He is no longer with us but his music is timeless. I first heard "The End of the World" at a Friends place in the 80s and was floored back then over how crafty this guitar player was. I have purchased and listened to the whole CD and it only get's better with time. An essential CD for any Rock Musician's library. If you don't believe me then check out some of the tunes on You-Tube. I only wish he was still around to give us more Moore :)
Gary Moore is one of the best Blues and Rock guitarists ever!

I actually owned this album 20 years ago and this remastered issue is even better if you can believe that. In my opinion, Corridors of Power was Gary Moore's best guitar work. Even the sappy power ballad's are fresh and crisp.
