March 16-20, 1992 is Uncle Tupelo's best album, in my opinion. It feels homier and more earthy than thier other, more "electric" sounding albums. I'm more in tune with songs like "Sandusky" than I am with tunes like "Gun" or "I Got Drunk", but having said that, ALL of thier albums are worth getting. Your milage may vary. GOD, I wish Uncle Tupelo was back. Maybe a reunion someday?? We can only hope.
Acoustic Tupelo, stripped down, bare bones, with nothing to hide. Full of songs that bring me back to another time. You honestly believe this was recorded by coal miners in the latter part of a century past.
