If you like MOTLEY CRUE (Had to keep their name clean here), then you will love this CD. I bought my copy over a month ago and it is still in my CD player. Now considering my favorite Motley Crue album is SHOUT AT THE DEVIL, not every song is that great, but the majority rocks. Saints of Los Angeles, and M.F. of the year are still my two favorite tracks on this album but there are other decent tracks as well. "Chicks = Trouble" is a reminder of all the problems each member went through after their celebrity marriage went sour. "Just another Psycho" is a reminder of Tommy Lee's trouble with both Pamela Anderson, and the Paparazzi. And "Welcome to the Machine" is a reminder of why MOTLEY CRUE split up for quite a few years after the DR. Feelgood tour (Opinions on this may vary.) (Read the book "The Dirt" for better clarification on each topic.) Actually the entire album is quite good except for one track. I believe the album could have eliminated "The Animal In Me." Remind me too much of "Without You" from Dr. Feelgood. In honesty, I never liked that song either, nor many of the power ballads released during the late 80's. But overall this is a true Motley Crue album. The band gives 110% on this effort which was really a surprise to me (considering their last few studio albums were terrible.) I guess writing a book made them think about what made the band great in the first place and when they created this album they did not want to disappoint their fans. So it is time to lock up your daughters and probably lock up your wives. The CRUE is definitely back.Read full review
I remember like it was yesterday. I was 11 years old playing basketball in my driveway listening to a band that I picked up from the record store cuz they looked "cool". My older brother walked by...stopped... and then asked.. "who's this?" I replied "Motley Crue" he said " Theyre going to be big" and walked off. The year was 1982 and the record was Too Fast For Love by Motley Crue and boy was my brother right. Many albums and drug overdoses later the Crue are back with this gem Saints Of Los Angeles. It's another must have for any metal head. The title track will lodge in your head much like the rest of the CD. It's fantastic top to bottom with all 4 members holding there own! Nikki, Vince, Mick, and Tommy have done it again. Rock ON!
If you love early Crue from TOO FAST FOR LOVE to DR. FEELGOOD, then the Saints of Los Angeles is the Motley Crue Cd that you have been waiting for! A return to their earlier raunchy rock 'n' roll daze, drawing inspiration from the City of Angels, where they've done their best work. Features all 4 original members and is a stellar comeback for a band that had gone off the tracks in recent years. Make sure you get the EXPLICIT VERSION! Peace-SS
I'm incredibly disappointed in this album! It is so crude and vulgar, the language and majority of the content are atrocious. I mean, Motley Crue were never saints (lol), they were always a little crass, but this is beyond ridiculous and almost intolerable (for those who care). It is very disconcerting that there is no warning on the cover! If there were, I'd never have purchased it. It couldn't been a decent album (definitely not great), but it IS NOT! I bought it only for nostalgia reasons...but I do not recommend this album at all. I know many people don't care, but some do, so just be warned.

this is a classic motley crue album and it gets more than a 5 star rating here. I wish they made this album right after dr. feelgood.
