This is one of the first studio releases after Hagar left the band Montrose. You won't notice any hits or radio songs on this while your looking over the track list but every song is just plain ole good hard rock music. What you get are the trademark Sammy vocals with great lyrics and really good guitar work with a steady beat. If you own some of Sammy's more popular material like "VOA", "Three Lock Box" or any of his more recent stuff with the Waborita's then I really think your gonna wanna check out this early material also, he has several albums that came out in the early to mid 1970's, after he left Montrose that were straightforward great hard rock releases and this is one of them.
