I noticed that there was a significant (very noticeable) increase in the bass level on the chorus of the one song I bought the whole physical cd album for. The song was called 100 in a 55. The version I downloaded off of a mp3 website showed significantly clearer treble levels throughout the chorus, as opposed to overwhelming bass. Which is what I heard on the cd. What I am referring pertains to the bass level that becomes apparent after the drum rest which occurs around one second after these lyrics "Full speed got me looking out my rear view I can’t go back". These lyrics are right before the first chorus. That being said, I am going to stick to the source that I got my mp3 from. The different audio levels I heard on the cd were definitely inferior in quality to the mp3 downloaded source. Since this was the 2009 version, I was hoping that I would get the same quality that I got from the mp3 files that appear to be from the 2008 version. Im kinda disappointed that I may have to buy the 2008 cd to achieve what I wanted and expected from the 2009 cd (which was lossless wav, or 320 kbps mp3)Read full review
