After hearing volume one and enjoying that, l had to check out volume two. Love the songs but hearing Casey spinning some 'Stengelese' at the congressional committee is classic. 'You Gotta Have Heart' is one of my favorite baseball songs. And, Phil Foster singing 'Let's Keep the Dodgers in Brooklyn' is another old fave of mine. Peter, Paul and Mary's 'Right Field' really hits home reminding me of my little league days. The Elmo and Patsy tune is a great comedy spin on the game. There's even a few words from Humphrey Bogart about going to the ballpark. The opening tune 'It's a Beautiful Day for a Ball Game' brings back a special memory of watching the Sunday Phillies game when l was a kid. It was what the station played as an intro. All in all, a good musical effort on the national past time. For how inexpensive it was is the icing on the cake. A good deal! ⚾️Read full review

I purchased this CD for the Brownie McGhee song, The Robbie-Doby Boogie, a tribute to Jackie Robinson and Larry Doby. The price was right and I got what I paid for. As a CD, however, you can quickly tell it's volume 2 of this series as there are really only about 6 keepers among its 23 cuts.
