I must admit i'm a big fan of Micheal Kiske, but i'll give a try to Helloween's stuff from time to time. A 25th anniversary is a great way to dust off old classics , but this is way beyond heavy metal. I was expecting something else, a regular "best of" with a few new tricks, but it's something else. "Unarmed" is a complete new record , a new feeling of old friends . The first time a heard "Dr.Stein"i was really impressed , it's like Sinatra singing heavy metal, with a horn section ...wow ! I know , this will sound crazy , and it is ... but it works ! Every metal freaks, with an open mind can enjoy this . "Future World " is a classic, so now listen to it in a classic form ! Some of you are still angry at Kiske for doing hard rock , don't even think about buying this one , you'll hate it . But those of you who think that heavy metal can evolve, please do yourself a favor , and give a try to this . Andi Deris is not just the guy who replace Kiske, he can really sings too, and this excellent album prove it! Heloween still know how to rocks, but they can evolve too ! Do yoursel a favor and give it a try !Read full review
I'm 36 years old and I was at my teen when HELLOWEEN were at their best. This cd destroys some of the hymns that metal music wrote. Avoid!!! I wish I've never listened to this crap!!
