Sweet was one of the first bands I listened to when I started getting into rock music as a kid, so I may be a little biased in the ratings. This, however, is their one album that I think most non-Sweet fans would like. If you are turned off by their early, teeny-bopper "Ballroom Blitz"- and "Little Willy"-type stuff, don't be worried about that sound on this album. Those songs, and most early Sweet songs, were written by someone else (Chinn/Chapman) for the band, and eventually Sweet broke away from them and started writing their own songs. This album is a full-fledged hard rock album, with some of the best songs that the band wrote (I think "The Healer" and "Yesterday's Rain" are two of the best songs that you have never heard on "Classic-Rock" radio). Try it -- I bet you'll like it.
Well pleased, had the LP, But no longer have a LP player.
