The hits are here of course: "Sweet and Lovely," "Deep Purple," "Whispering," "Stardust," "Tea of Two," "I'm Confessin' (That I Love You)," "All Strung Out" and "I Can't Go on Livin' Baby Without You." Along with the hits there are some lower charters as well as some delightful cuts like "Begin the Beguine," "The Coldest Night of the Year" and "I Love How You Love Me." Though the majority of songs on Sweet and Lovely are from 62-67, three aren't. "Teach Me Tiger" is from 1959, "I'm Falling' for You" from 1985 and "Why Don't You Do Right? from 1996. The two latter feature Nino Tempo. The first is country flavored which misses badly for me. The second is perhaps an attempt to modernize his sound which is both interesting and engaging. No text. Brief but interesting booklet with a few pics. 17 tracks. 46:13.Read full review
