The Canadian rocking band formed from former members of The Guess Who produced great Blues and solid rock and roll which makes BTO. The blues flavored "Blue Collar" is the softer side of BTO. "Don't Get Yourself In Trouble" shows what would become the style of BTO for solid straight ahead rock and roll. BTO influenced many other bands in later years as "Stayed Awake All Night" was covered by 80's band Krokus, also Canadian. If you have other BTO albums, this album would need to be included to complete your BTO catalog.
I've been looking to find this 1973 release by BTO ever since 1992. I had this LP and it was one of my favorites. Made loud to be played loud!! Imagine my joy when I found it on ebay! It made me want to search out more of the music that played on my turntable years ago, the ones I played so many times they began to lose the grooves. I put it in my CD player, cranked it up untill the dog hid and the cat ran upstairs! I guess you can find almost anything if you just keep looking long enough! Now for some Foghat! Rock On!!
I use to have the album when I was in High School, but got rid of a long time ago. This has always been one of my favorite bands.
