If you don't own Get Born, buy that as it is a far better album than this. Too much airplay on radio one clearly took its toll between the two albums, maybe in time this album will grow on you but good old pub rock it isn't. Sorry to any die hard Jet fans, but this is just another in a long line of dissapointing second albums after the bar was raised maybe a little too high by the first.
Unlike the debut album, this one lacks the 'BANG' at the beginning. I.e. it doesn't immediately catch your attention until the third track (Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is), bringing back memories of the band's original sound. The rest of the album is okay but not as rocking as the first.
Bought first album (Get Born)was excellent this is not as good but some tracks are starting to grow on me.
