As this is a live recording from the late 60's you have to take in consideration the recording technology back then. That aside, you have to appreciate the vocal talent of Parsons and his influence on country and rock music then and even now. The growth of country rock got a kick in the rear when Parsons teamed up with Byrds on Sweetheart Of The Rodeo. Since Gram did not log much serious studio time, his fans are left with many similar live recordings like this one. Being a vocalist myself I'll definetly take it. Eric in NE Pa.
This is the original Burrito lineup and the perfomance and the sound are great.

This is a gem of a release. It's great to hear the classic line-up of the Flying Burrito Brothers perform before Gram Parsons blew it and became a Stones groupie. Live versions of most of the tracks from the Gilded Palace of Sin album sound great with the vocals well mixed up front, and the country standards and odd countrified R&B number go down well.
