I bought Jakob Dylan's CD after seeing his band playing at the Artist Den. But the songs were not even close to the ones he played that night. I'd say two are on the CD and the rest are from the Wallflowers Band. Other than that it is a good CD worth listening to but hope for his Best of when it comes out.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this CD. Jakob Dylan has such a smooth voice. Songs on this CD are fantastic.

Seeing Things, the debut solo album by Jacob Dylan clearly demonstrates his unique expertise in poignant songwriting. The Lyrics are every bit as captivating as anything his father Bob has written. Take the song Everybody Pays As They Go. My favorite line from that goes: “Either you’re the Butcher or the Lamb, but even so, everybody pays as they go.” That says it all. Jacob is more than the Bob for this generation. Carrying on a legacy of dealing with the hard issues that surround us, Jacob Dylan rises above the stereotype of his last name, and delivers truly fresh and enjoyable entertainment.
I decided to buy lthis as I have enjoyed the songs of the artist's father, Bob Dylan, and was curious as to how his son, Jakob, compared with him. There is some similarity between the two, but not a lot. The price was very low, so I felt I would not be risking any significant amount if I did not care for this album.
Exploring country more than folk Jakob Dylan shares 10 acoustic tracks with us. Unfortunately, the songs come off as uninspired and Jakob sounds a bit bored. I've listened to it several times and tried to like it but I don't. All I can give it is 2 stars.
