DVD with interesting surprise
Great product. Was disappointed at first since it appeared to be all audio. To my surprise one DVD is audio and/or video. I have never seen this before, so it was a wonderful surprise for me. I love it especially too since it is the original group and the newer replacements with the remaining members. This was a wonderful surprising purchase.

Must have for Skynyrd collectors....contains many previously unreleased versions of songs and Skynyrds 1st live performance on a Memphis radio show....this show contains the only recording of Woman of Mine....this RVZ song just has a great groove featuring solos from Billy Powell and Ed king...

CD is ok; you can get everything on numerous other greatest hits releases, so nothing new there. First DVD is a video which again has been released elsewhere. Second DVD is DVD-AUDIO release of the greatest hits selection from the CD; most likely that's why you bought this collection in the first place (at least I did), and it's an utter disappointment, since the 5.1 surround mix is very bad. Overall, not worth the money.

THIS 3 DISC COLLECTION IS FOR AVID FANS. DISC 1, GREATEST HITS IS 14 GOOD SONGS, BUT UNLESS YOU HAVE ALL THEIR SONGS, YOU DON'T HAVE THE GREATEST HITS, BECAUSE EVERY SONG WAS A GREATEST HIT. DISC 2 (ONLY TRUE DVD) IS DVD OF OLD GREY WHISTLE TEST ON BBC TV. 7 GREAT SONGS, VIDEO IS GOOD (FOR IT'S AGE), BUT AUDIO NOT VERY GOOD. DISC 3, SAYS DVD, BUT IT'S A VERY WELL REMASTERED AUDIO, WITH STILL PHOTOS. DISC 3 IS THE BEST EVER AUDIO OF OLD SKYNYRD. 10 GREAT SONGS, THIS DISC ALONE IS WORTH WHAT I PAID ($12.50) FOR ALL 3. THERE ARE BETTER DVD'S, BUT NOTHING COMPARES TO THE AUDIO ON DISC 3.
