The Donnas are one of those bands who clearly makes an effort to evolve with each album and this is no exception. Some major standouts are the infectious "Wasted", driving rhythms and chorus of "What do I Have to Do" and the Joan Jett inspired "Don't Wait Up For Me". Great contrast with their other standout albums "Spend the Night" and "Gold Medal" those are more 70s inspired while this is clearly a love letter to the 80s bands like Motley Crue, Ratt and Def Leopard. Highly recommended.

It is sad that this band broke up after the release of this cd. It is by far the best project they have done and is much like "Gold Metal" in many ways. The mix and and overall song selection could have made this and Gold Metal a double disc set. This is straight ahead rock and roll and at times has a Joan Jett feel with ACDC playing the track. It would be nice to see more bands release music with the drive and just fun element like the Donna's play. This is so far advanced from their earlier stuff and mix is something that is missing by most bands releasing cd's these days. Mick Jaggers summed it up well with the famous phrase "I know its only rock-n-roll but I like it". This is great stuff from The Donna's.
This band is amazing without doubt and you will be happy of purchase.
