This is the holy triumvirate of rock still at their peak. Bought this to celebrate the 40th anniversary of this album (dropped Sept 1982). The tracks are timeless; they all still sound fresh. I'm particularly blown away by how "Countdown" tells of witnessing space shuttle Columbia's maiden voyage. Here we are today, preparing to witness Artemis 1 liftoff for the moon in the coming days/weeks. You can't go wrong with any Rush Album, of course, but this one has some solid classics from the start of their synth period.

From the first seconds of the opening synthesizer intro. to the song "Subdivisions" onward to the final song, the NASA/space shuttle launch inspired "Countdown" this is one outstanding Rush cd! In fact, on any given day you may hear almost any Rush fan claim this as either their favorite of all time, or up near the top of personal favorites. The early 1980's were a great time for the band, they really had such a unique sound during this period and many fans (I was one in 1981) found out about the band and just how stout the music was that they played. This is a must have for any fan or Rush, I'll go as far as to say this is a must have cd for any fan of hard rock music. Get it, you won't be disappointed at all!
Classic Rush, -- great music for the Rush fan.
