Most of us that are old enough, would remember the greatest Rock Man of all time. I learned of him back when I was 15 or 16 years old, every time when school let for summer. Alice Cooper's song 'School's Out' the song would play on the days when we were let out of school. My first album I bought was called 'Welcome To My Nightmare' on Vinyl (long playing record) I was 16 when I got it and I do still have it. It is in perfect shape. After the Cassettes came out, I bought many of his albums my last cassette I bought was 'Hey Stupid'. Then CD's came out I started trying to get his album's all over again. Some I got with luck, other's we had to special order. I was so happy to see 'From The Inside' available on here at first I was only going to watch the album and decided it would be best to pay for it now. So, I wait for it to come here. His albums depending which one you fall in love, most of the albums kind of tell a story. 'From The Inside' tells several stories rolled onto one album. What can I say about Alice Cooper? He rocks!Read full review

The best Alice Cooper album. The triumphant return after his battle with alcoholism. Working with Bob Ezrin and a large group of studio musicians. Beautiful, funny, disturbing prose in the lyrics that paint a portrait of the mentally ill people he encountered during his stay in the hospital. Each song describing a separate character. Flawless instrumental accompaniment and backing vocals. It's difficult to get the complete feeling of the album on CD because the artwork is so small. The packaging for the vinyl was also incredible. One of the best concept rock albums ever recorded.

In my opinion, the best album that Alice Cooper ever made! I found it in a pawn-shop years ago and fell in love with the lyrics, the music, and the supposed story about it being an album written about actual people that he met while in rehab. At some point while bouncing around the US it was lost - and it took five years before a mall store was able to acquire another for me (as it was long out of production). That one was stolen soon after. I've looked endlessly for this album ever since with no luck - the simplest solution (ebay) for some reason never occurred to me till now. Can't wait to hear it again... and again... and again!!! Every track is great - all the lyrics are killer - and always bear in mind the circumstances under which it was written. If you have ever had the misfortune to be in rehab, you will identify completely with this album - and if not, you'll gain an interesting insight!!Read full review
I drifted away from Alice Cooper after the break-up of the original band. I was pleasantly surprised with this release. Enough so, that I may have to start taking a closer look at some of the others I have missed out on.
