An excellent pairing of two classic Beach Boys albums and includes all the content of the original LP's all in beautifully remastered form. A must for all Beach Boys fans. Good value especially as the Holland album is difficult to get hold of. Excellent bayer too.

I heard a sample of Dennis Wilsons "Cuddle Up" over the internet, it was fuzzy and poor quality and yet it sounded something special. I saw this album shortly afterwards and could not believe my luck when that same track was listed. I had to have it. I wasnt disappointed when it arrived. I remember as a lad waiting for the release of Dont Look Back In Anger by Oasis and that I chose to sit alone in the dark when I heard it the first time to fully absorb the track, I remember how the hairs stood up on the back of my neck as the music flowed from the radio. Hearing Cuddle Up, (though different in a creative and musical sense) I relived that moment, sat alone in the dark, hearing a breathtaking, long awaited track for the first time. I am lucky enough to have recently purchased Pacific Ocean Blue by Dennis Wilson, but with all respect Cuddle Up is just superior to anything on that album. As if Cuddle Up isnt reason enough to buy this album bear in mind that the album also contains Beach Boys classic "Marcella", the energetic "Sail on Sailor", Carl Wilsons sublime "The Trader" and for me another great Dennis Wilson collaboration "Only With You". The only "downside" to this album is that the peculiar "Mt Vernon and Fairway" selection included is just too strange. Legend has it that at great expense Brian Wilson forced the record company to include it with the original Holland Album and it ended up shoved under the plastic wrapper of the original LP at the last minute. Sure, you have to hear it once, but I couldnt listen to it everytime I play the album. Sorry Brian, I love your music and have a lot of your albums but "Mt Vernon" is just too "far out". Anyway, enough of my gabbling, find a copy of this double album and get bidding!Read full review
