Anyone who is a Ronnie James DIO fan , Vivian Campbell or Craig Goldie fan should have this CD in their collection, The first disc is with original Guitarist Vivian Campbell, and its Viv at his Best, he just shreds, compared to other guitarists during this time Jake E Lee, George Lynch, Van Halen, Warren De Martini, Viv was very underated, he is a very talented guitarist. 2nd disc is 87 with Craig Goldie this is also a good concert. I would recommend this album to any Metal fan.
A "must have" for any Dio fan. It's really nice to have the contrast between '83 and '87. In '83, you have Dio's first tour as the "Dio band". With only one album, Holy Diver, they perform more of former Dio bands music. In '87, there is plenty of music from Holy Diver through Dream Evil. I had forgotten how awesome Viv Cambell was in those early days, it brings back lots of memories.
As a DIO fan, this double CD is a must ... not only because it is a DIO album, but because of the songs that he played those two days, Both CD's have tons of songs from his entire carreer, from Rainbow, up to Dio including great Black sabbath's songs such as "children of the sea" "neon knights" and "heaven and hell" ...
A must have for any DIO fan!!!
