I absolutely love the score of The Bridges of Madison County. I have never seen the show on stage, but the music is gorgeous. Kelli O'Hara is a perfect choice to sing Francesca; and JRB's score highlights her considerable talent. It is clear that the music represents the characters fully and that even the songs each sings delineate the closeness and the chasms between them. Listening to the show score is the next best thing to being there.
