I have been a long time follower of Deep Purple. From the beginning, when they were battling it out with Uriah Heep for the Hard Rock Championship, I have loved their music (Uriah Heep too). The performance on this Cd is slightly less than in their heyday, but still rocks tremendously. Live, loud and raunchy is the way Deep Purple performs and it exudes from this Cd. I understand that they got back together for this farewell tour and they were still having problems within the group, but they definately still rocked. "THAT" is the sign of professionals, battling through to deliver one more great performance. I would reccomend this Cd to any diehard rocker.
